Paint, tile, a fence: the Commission sees it.
Manalapan’s Architectural Commission approves any exterior change, down to a new paint or roof tile color, shutters, fences, landscaping and seawalls. It meets the first Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
Applications go through MGO. The Town’s fees run by level, from $450 for Level 1 to $2,500 for Level 4: a new house, or work on 50 percent or more of the floor area.

A parking plan before the first truck.
The Town Code wants a parking plan approved before work starts, side-yard screening within two weeks of the first permit, a 6-foot temporary fence, a covered dumpster and a portable toilet. Where possible, neighbors get 24 hours’ notice before loud work.
It’s down A1A from the Town of Palm Beach, where Philip has worked for over 25 years.
